Amanda Stashenko, CP Intern

Currently a clinical psychology intern at the Christian Counseling Center, Amanda is a graduate student completing her Master's degrees in Clinical Psychology and Counseling Psychology at Capella University.  Upon completion, she wishes to enter into a doctoral program in Clinical Psychology with a specialization in Military Psychology.  

Amanda often uses Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) in working with clients who suffer from anxiety, Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), depression, and other issues as a result of traumatic experiences.  In addition, she works with individuals who have personality disorders, obsessive-compulsive disorders, and feeding/eating disorders.

Born and raised in Stamford, Amanda finds joy in travel, hockey, and her pet turtle.
