Cheryl began working as a therapist at the Christian Counseling Center in 2013 and was named Executive Director in 2015. With her background as a speech therapist and television talk show host, communication is the thread that runs throughout her professional life. She has developed an exceptional ability to attune with others through genuine empathy and respect.

Cheryl helps individuals overcome depression and/or anxiety by unearthing treasure as she walks alongside them on their path to discovering their personal strengths and purpose. She helps strengthen couples seeking a deeper, safer connection to each other by identifying and eliminating patterns in their interaction that maintain disharmony.

A graduate of Fairfield University with a Master of Arts degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Cheryl’s background in special education helps families navigate the complexities of caring for children with special needs.  Her experience and compassion support married and divorced parents to co-parent effectively and work together to build a family structure with optimal hierarchy and flexibility to adapt to life’s changing stages.

Originally from Southern California, Cheryl and her husband have two sons and have resided in the New Canaan area for 18 years.
